How does WaterIntelligence support routine water supply operations?

Built on top of of PipeFusion’s best-in-class data engine, WaterIntelligence enables utilities to utilise data in regular planning, maintenance and reporting operations, helping to identify leaks and non-revenue water, set conditional alerts and understand the status of their network in real time for faster, more accurate decision making.

Is it possible to create and monitor alerts using WaterIntelligence?

Yes, you can create conditional alerts to monitor any aspect of your water network using WaterIntelligence. Never miss an important event again!

How does WaterIntelligence solve for non-revenue water?

With reading from SCADA and IoT sensors, or in combination with meters outside SCADA, WaterIntelligence provides risk assessment and guidance at a significantly higher granularity than regular DMA deficit tracking.

What methods are used to support leakage detection?

By assessing the risk of every pipe segment in a region, WaterIntelligence is able to utilise PipeFusion data to conduct a targeted search for leaks even in cases where the measured DMAs would otherwise be too large. Additional data from listening devices or pressure readings allow us to further pinpoint leakage, even if the particular region encompasses many thousands of pipe segments.

Can WaterIntelligence be used as a standalone product?

No, the capabilities of our WaterIntelligence module are dependent on PipeFusion’s best-in-class data engine and cannot be used as a standalone product.

What is the price of WaterIntelligence? Is there additional cost for data storage and retention?

InfoTiles products are priced using metered billing, meaning that customers only pay for what they use. Both PipeFusion and our Intelligence product modules are priced on per-kilometre basis, so the final pricing depends on the size of the network regardless of the volume of data. For exceptionally large water networks, or in instances where the size of the network does not correspond to the serviceable value, our team is happy to discuss fixed-rate alternatives.

InfoTiles provides pre-agreed upon limits for data storage and retention suitable to the use cases and functionality provided, the details of which can be discussed with our sales team. Typically, this is 5 years of 5-minute resolution data, with older data archived at 20-minute resolution for a further 5 years. Additional storage and retention is available upon request.
